My life before I reached out to Jesus Christ was lonely and dark, cold and full of fear. I started using drugs but the addiction took me by surprise. I was angry and sad at who I had become. I prayed God would restore me to who I was. Now I’m living here at A Peaceful Habitation following Jesus Christ. I am thirsty for knowledge, praying more, seeing signs that God is with me and feeling His presence. My insecurities are disappearing little by little and I have high hopes for building my relationship with Jesus. In the future, I would like to make amends with my family so I can feel the true meaning of joy and grace. I want the glow of the Holy Spirit.
I love to praise and worship to the song, 10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord): “And on that day when my strength is failing the end draws near and my time has come. Still my soul will sing your praise unending, ten thousand years and forevermore.”
When I sing this song, God fills me up with intense warmth from head to toe. This song reminds me of the last time I used drugs. I promised the Lord this would be the last time. It was His will and He set up the circumstances for my new beginning.
