Pastor Chris Russo is the Lead Pastor of Riverland Church. He is passionate about reaching people with the life-changing message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Chris came to faith in Christ as a freshman at the College of Charleston and his life has never been the same since then. At the age of 21, Chris came on staff at Seacoast Church in Charleston, SC, where he served faithfully for 18 years. During that time, Chris had the opportunity to serve in college, young professional, and marriage ministry; he also had the privilege of leading 2 of Seacoast's campuses. Chris got his Master of Arts in Religion and Master of Divinity through Liberty University and has also taught Christianity at 2 Christian colleges. Chris and his wife Abbi have been married for 16 years and have 3 wonderful boys named Isaac, Jonathan and Samuel. Chris and Abbi are honored to serve at Riverland Church and believe the best is yet to come for this extraordinary faith community.
